Research project:
The history of Catholic Religious Education in Australia in the early 20th century. Special attention is being given to the approach of John McMahon who was central to what was known as the “Perth Plan for Religious Education”. The approach highlighted the use of imagination; it was noticeably child centred -- an emphasis which emerged more generally at a later time.
