OUTLINE FOR A LESSON PLAN - INSTRUCTION


 
Aims

To determine exactly what is to be taught during the lesson.

To establish exactly what facts children are to know at the conclusion of the lesson.

To tabulate how the knowledge will influence the decisions, choices and directions the students will make.

 

Procedure

How the lesson will progress, listing the various stages used to unfold the new information.

    Review of previous lesson

    Introduction of new material

    Activities to consolidate new facts

Scripture / Liturgy / Doctrine

To provide the scriptural / liturgical / doctrinal background for the knowledge taught and the values expected.

It is the person of Jesus we proclaim and the message we explain.

 

Outcomes

    A tabulation of how the knowledge can be a guide to assist the students live their lives as Christ did.

    To show hao the knowledge will / can / must influence the lives of Christians
